Official ‘JUST PASSING THROUGH’ Press Release

THE MUSTANGS, are one of the most popular and established blues rock bands in the UK. With a career spanning 16 years, the band return with their first studio album since 2013, titled ‘JUST PASSING THROUGH’.

Regulars on the touring circuit, and a mainstay at UK Blues Festivals, The Mustangs’ new album looks set to firmly return the band to its Blues roots, whilst maintaining the melodic and lyrical content that sets set them apart from other 12 Bar Blues bands.

The album has been co-produced by the band’s singer and guitarist Adam Norsworthy, and the in-demand blues producers of House Of Tone Productions;  Wayne Proctor and Steve Wright.

The album’s title and concept reflect the lyrics which explore mortality, fidelity, loneliness and religion. Wayne Proctor and production partner Steve Wright have added a more rich, powerful and punchy sound than the band has had before. The music features raw slide guitar, sparse country blues, acappella blues hymns, simmering ballads and epic guitar work-outs. Think you know the Mustangs? Think again.

In 2016 songwriter Adam released a hugely-acclaimed solo album, Rainbird (winning singer-songwriter album of the year from some music websites), also produced by Wayne Proctor. Now the Mustangs are back, and with festivals, radio shows and a tour in the planning for 2017,

JUST PASSING THROUGH looks set to re-establish the Mustangs at the forefront of the British Blues scene.

JUST PASSING THROUGH’ will be released worldwide on Trapeze Records on April 7th,

and will be available from all good music retailers
