Guitar… and voicebox.
Age you started playing?
About 11 - but I remember being thrown out of violin lessons when I was 8 because I kept playing it like a guitar.
Other instruments you can play?
Bass, drums and piano - to varying degrees! I even played a banjo on one Mustangs album.
First musical memory?
Possibly Save All Your Kisses for Me, early 70s... Brotherhood of Man?
First record bought?
Meet the Beatles, USA print, in 1977. In fact the first dozen records I bought were all Beatles albums.
Favourite bands/singers?
Beatles, Stones, Neil Young, Dylan, Zeppelin...all the old classics.
Favourite blues song?
Difficult to pin down one song....Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Elmore James..all the old classics.
Best band ever seen live?
Queen in 1986 on the Magic Tour... different gravy as they say oop North (North London, that is).
Favourite venue to play in?
As long as there's electricity, running water and a wire mesh screen to protect the band, I really don't care.
Drink you like to be bought after a show?
Why wait til after the show? Ice cold lager please.
Most annoying habit of other band member?
All of them constantly getting things right when I am just making it up as I go along.
