Cut Loose
"Oh So Good!" May 2010
"This is one of my favourite Mustangs albums to date, they take an old school sound and make it their own, it has something for my every mood, the music gets inside you and forces you to get up and dance,a great example of this would be 'thunder in the air', full of energy and kinda sexy with it, the only thing better than this album is seeing them live, top class band in my eyes, cant wait to see what they give us next!"

"Best Mustangs Album Yet" January 2011
"The Mustangs have been getting better and better with every album, and Cut Loose is the sound of a band on top form. Once again they include out and out rockers alongside big anthemic songs, ballads and blues. Somehow they make it all hang together beautifully and you never get a bored listening to an album that constantly changes and has many highlights.
Blues Matters Review - June/July 2010
The Mustangs are a pretty heavy rock band with some blues influence. What distinguishes this CD from many others in this crowded field is that all the songs are their own originals and that there is a fair bit of variety on display in the 11 tracks. Another distinguishing feature is the excellent harp playing of Derek Kingaby, who adds different textures that complement the guitars very well, preventing the band from having a standard-issue guitar-dominated sound.
Rock 'n' Reel Review - May 2010
This Hampshire four-piece has been around the clubs and festivals for some years (and four albums) but, being at the rockier end of the blues scene, has rather escaped my attention, which probably shows I should be getting out more for this was a real and unexpected treat.
