Newark Blues Festival - Summer 2010
“The conclusion to the Newark Blues Festival were the Mustangs, who played as if their life depended on it.
The harmonica solos were favourably received, and it was good to see such a tight band playing at the end of the festival”
– Tony Nightengale, BM Magazine, Issue 57
Cambridge Rock Festival - Blues Matters issue 57
“The Cambridge Rock Festival was another pristine performance from the band. Adam Norsworthy’s energetic guitar and vocal, underscored by and tightly held together by the band’s percussion section, through the work of bass player Ben McKeown and drummer Jon Bartley.
Then all beautifully topped off by the top class harmonica playing of Derek Kingaby. One of the blues highlights of the day”
– Carol Borrington, Blues Matters Magazine, issue 57
Tubby's Blues Club, Cheltenham - April 2010
Hi folks
Thanks to all of you who came to the Tubby's Show last night. What a really great night it turned out to be. Both bands were absolutely red hot.
Pure Instinct kicked off proceedings and produced a really thumping, well balanced and contrasting set.
Petersfield Festival - 6th June 2009
Kate Steaggles gives her verdict on the bands who played in The Square on Saturday night.
It might have taken a bit of time for The Square to fill up on Saturday evening and despite the grey and gloomy looking sky, the evening kicked off in style with The Visitors playing a short set on stage.

BLUES IN BRITAIN Magazine - Pete Clinton
I like the Swanage Blues Festival. It is compact, the locals are friendly and the setting beautiful, with plenty of pubs selling various real ales and good pub grub; plus. of course, the blues.
Blues Quest - June 2006
QUEST ENDS by Craig Nelson, Surrey Comet, June 2006.
The first BluesQuest came to a fitting finale last Wednesday night with a re-union of all nine finalists, live at the Eel Pie Club in Twickenham.
Bands chosen to lay down tracks on the BluesQuest CD, following a series of monthly heats at the Eel Pie, came together for one last, big concert.
Cool Jerks, Chicago Thieves, Blues Academy and others who entered the competition, backed by Newsquest, performed tracks from the CD to a packed audience.
