Adam and Derek's Pow Wow To Be Put Back

The Mustangs

Pow Wow, the album by Derek and Adam (as Adam & The King Bee) is now scheduled for a September release to leave the Summer clear for promotion of the new Mustangs album.

The 12 track album, to be released on the band's own Raging Horse label, features songs written by Adam and Derek that the pair felt were perhaps not quite right for the Mustangs.

"The album has a very country blues feel to it', says Adam. "It's very laid back and a bit tongue in cheek, though we are very serious about the music!".

Free Download - Raincloud

The Mustangs

This month's free member's-only download is an extra special one! It is a demo acoustic version of an UNRELEASED Mustangs song called Raincloud. Written by Adam for the Nothing Stays The Same album, it never made the final selection. here Adam talks about the song:

" I always quite liked Raincloud - it had that downbeat Neil Young feel to it..and the band even rehearsed it up and played it live at Swanage once, but I think we felt the vibe of it just didn't fit with the album we were making at the time and it just got left behind in many ways.
