Exciting Year Ahead for the Mustangs in 2012
2012 Looks set to be a bumper year for the Mustangs and their fans. With a number of great gigs already planned, there are also a number of new releases being scheduled via the band's new label Trapeze.
Amongst the shows to look out for in 2012 are festival gigs such as Broadstairs, Linton, Bentworth, Diss in Norfolk, Blues in Town and, of course Swanage. More look set to be confirmed as the year progresses.
Great venues that will host the band in 2012 include Eel Pie, Tubby's in Cheltenham, Portsmouth Bandstand, Sunbury Cricket Club and the Met Bar. More will be added to the calendar!
March sees the release of Pow Wow - a duo album from Adam & the King Bee (Derek), and there is talk of a Mustangs compilation in the Summer....but this is just a rumour for now! Adam has told us that he is planning another solo album for the back end of the year, so all in all 2012 should be one to remember for all the band's followers.
Says Adam: "We have loads planned through 2012, and we can't wait to get going with it all. As always, we have the festival shows - one looks very exciting in particular! - and some great venues lined up. We also have some exciting recording projects planned...but we'll reveal more details as the year goes on.....stay tuned".
