What kind of album would you like the Mustangs to release next?:

Nothing Stays The Same

Blues Matters Records (2008)

Blues In Britain magazine named the Mustangs’ 5th album, Nothing Stays The Same, as one of its 20 recommended albums of the year, and it’s easy to see why.

Containing at least four stone cold Mustangs classics, the whole album is packed with killer riffs and hooks, but never losing the bluesy edge and rawness that the band grew up with. The title track may well be the band’s biggest song to date, but elsewhere the opener Put Your Money On Me and also Looking Down The Well are guaranteed live anthems.

All four band members excel with their contributions; Derek’s beautiful Good Luck Girl and Ben’s Nights Like Those providing grace and texture to Adam’s riff heavy rockers. For many, it’s THE Mustangs album to have.
