Live at The Swanage Blues Festival - March 2007
BLUES IN BRITAIN Magazine - Pete Clinton
I like the Swanage Blues Festival. It is compact, the locals are friendly and the setting beautiful, with plenty of pubs selling various real ales and good pub grub; plus. of course, the blues.
Saturday night concluded with The Mustangs at the White Horse. The place was heaving and The Band was even tighter than they were at last year's festival. At the afternoon session The Mustangs showed how well they can play straight blues. Now they were in blues-rock mode, playing bluesed up versions of 'You Really Got Me' amongst other covers and their own material. The house did rock - if you want a band tha gets people up and dancing they are it.
