Released on the the UK's largest dedicated blues label, Blues Matters, The Mustangs are a south coast based, four man line up with a formidable live reputation. Frontman Adam Norsworthy handles lead vocals, guitar and keys, alongside the harp of Derek Kingaby, drummer Jon Bartley and bassist Ben McKeown. Commendably and democratically, the group share the paper and pen duties and all four have contributed to the writing of the album's wide-ranging material. All forms of the blues are paraded here from the get down and dirty ("Can't Find A Lover") to the story telling and light hearted ("Livin' My Life Alone"). There's no doubt that for hardcore British blues rock fans this will be a compulsory purchase and only enhance the band's growing influence.
