The Mustangs have begun writing and performing ,material which will be included on their next studio album, scheduled for a Spring 2013 release.

The group has debuted a number of new songs at shows over the last two months, including Retail Shuffle, Cold Walk Home, Payback and new showstopper When God Met The Devil.

Says Adam: "It's early days, but we have about half the new album reheared up, and another few songs written and waiting to be arranged and rehearsed. So far we are all very pleased with the new material and the album feels like it will be an exciting one..something of a return to our bluesy roots".

The as yet unnamed album will be relased on Trapeze, and will be the band's first official release on their new label. Trapeze did release Adam and Derek's duo album, Pow Wow earlier in 2012.
